A couple weeks ago the girls and I took a trip to Virginia Beach to visit my mom and attend a baby shower for my friend,
Christie. Unfortunately the shower was cancelled due to a rare snowstorm in Virginia Beach! The girls and I still had fun visiting with Nana. We went to the aquarium and Sarah enjoyed playing with all of my old toys. Traveling alone with two small children was interesting to say the least. The trip there went fine but the way back was a different story. We flew during naptime which probably wasn't the best choice. Sarah didn't nap at all and so by the time we changing planes in Detroit we were in full meltdown mode. But after a couple of outfit changes for Abby and a 40 minute tantrum from Sarah we were finally home!
While we were there we got to see Jenine, Cam's sister!
My little shy Sarah LOVED the touch tank at the aquarium. She wasn't scared at all and kept trying to take the animals out of the tank...I was sure she would end up with a crab in her pocket.

The picture to the left (girl in yellow dress) is a picture of my mom when she was little. I think Abby looks like her in this picture.

Sarah must have grown a lot from her days of the scary moo cow! And I always thought Abby looked like Cam until seeing that photo. She definitely looks like your mom!!
Looks like so much fun! I'm glad I got to see you guys even if the shower was snowed out! Still can't believe it! Abby looks SO much like your mom in that pic!
