Happy Birthday NANA!!

Sarah loves her Nana! Everytime I pull my phone out she says "Nana".....I guess I do talk to my mom alot! Sometimes she is so persistent I have to call Nana just to put her on speakerphone so Sarah can "talk" to her. I'm sure pretty soon Sarah will be calling her all by herself...good thing it is free. Nana is also one of the first people that Sarah recognized in photos. Anyways since today is Nana's day I decided to post some pictures of Nana and Sarah together :) Sarah's not going to know what to do when she has to share Nana with her little sister.

Two Peas in a Pod!

Recently our friends little girl came over to play with Sarah. The girls are getting so much bigger now and it is so fun to watch them interact! Sarah gets very excited when I tell her her friend is coming over. On this play date, they decided to play mommy and baby with the doll stroller. Only this time, Sarah was the baby. We also decided to make muffins. They are so cute together!

And just to reminisce, look at this post from about a year ago....can you believe how much they have grown??

Pizza!

Friday night is usually pizza night at our house :) We usually just pop a couple of frozen pizzas in the oven but this night I decided to get creative and make our own pizza! Sarah had a great time helping me spread the cheese and of course put on the pepperoni...I only caught her eating a few of them!

Bird Sanctuary

Apparently we have a wonderful yard for birds to live in :) (Who would have guessed with our one tree!) Two and a half weeks ago I walked outside to discover a duck laying eggs behind our air conditioner unit. I did some research on ducks and learned that it will take four weeks for the eggs to hatch! So we should have some little ducklings around June 23rd or so! I just hope I can catch them hatching. So far she has been a very good mother duck and only leaves for a few hours each evening to get some food. Sarah LOVES to go outside and look at the duck but it is getting harder and harder to keep her from attacking her :)

Last week I also almost got attacked by a baby bird! Out of our one little tree flew a little bird and almost hit me in the face! I think it must have just been learning to fly. Sure enough, I looked up in the tree and there is a birds nest. Momma bird kept bringing food to the little baby for at least an hour! He must be one hungry bird.

You may remember this post from awhile back. Well I tried to get a picture of Sarah in the dress again......I think the pictures explain it all! Oh well :)

Hi Kitty!

Sarah's first word was "Hi Kitty" and it is still very popular today. She has started to sleep with a stuffed animal kitty and every morning I hear her greeting the kitty in her crib! Last week I found a child's lawn chair that is shaped like a kitty (actually it is a tiger but close enough). I had to get it and it has been a BIG hit. The first night I brought it home she played with it for about 30 minutes which is always a bonus while I am trying to cook dinner :) This chair is going to be perfect for those nights we go and watch daddy play softball.
