Just goofin around....

My mom found this cute jean dress at a consignment store for Abby.  It is adorable but it also came with a matching jean hat....I took some pictures of Abby in it and even though the hat looks a little silly she still looks so stinkin' cute!  Sarah also joined in on our little photo shoot...she of course was wearing her princess jammies ;)

6 months!

Abby turned 6 months old on Easter! I can't believe it has been a whole half a year. She has changed a lot the past month. She can now sit up like a champ and loves to play with a basket of toys in front of her. She is also very anxious to move around....she is especially interested in all of Sarah's toys! This is going to be trouble one day....She started some fruits and veggies and seems to like them although I think she would prefer to have real food. She always has a great big smile and loves to give kisses. We are so blessed to have her in our family!
At her 6 months doctors appointment, she weighed 15 lbs 6 oz and was 27 inches tall.  Pretty much exactly the same as Sarah at 6 months!

She's Baaack.....

While I'm working on getting the vacation pics together (I've been distracted by trying to rehabiliate the yard!) here is a picture of Joan who decided to join our family again for awhile!

Apparently I took such good care of her last year, she decided to lay her eggs behind our air conditioning unit again!  This time she laid 10 eggs!  I have no idea why she chose this spot again considering the craziness going around our house right now.  They are building two new houses and there has been lots of banging and tons of trucks around.  Stay tuned in 4 more weeks for the duckling update!

Easter 2010

We just returned from our vacation in Florida!  We had a great time and apparently I took a ton of pictures :)  I just downloaded them to the computer and there are over 200!  So this is a teaser picture of many more to come.  I just need to organize them......but I probably should go to the grocery store first!
