Dancing with the Stars

Apparently Sarah's new favorite TV show is Dancing with the Stars. We were watching it tonight and she immediately started to dance to the music. She even looks like she is trying to copy what the dancers are doing. Here is a video of her dancing. Hilarious!

Apple Orchard

My MOPS group went to the Apple Orchard a couple of weeks ago and Sarah had a GREAT time. She loved to just pick an apple off of the tree and then sit down and eat it! It was really cute. After the orchards, we went to a house that had ponies and fed them some apples.

New Room

Last week Cam and I finished painting Sarah's room and I finished making the curtains! There is still a lot to be done.....like hang stuff on the walls....make a fabric bookshelf and so on. But we moved the mattress into the room and decided to let Sarah sleep there. We just put the mattress on the floor and I put pillows all the way around it just in case she fell off. We have spent three nights in the bed and so far it is a success. No tears and she has only gotten up a couple of times and then crawled back in the bed to sleep. She still has even stayed in the bed and read books when she has gotten up early! We will see if the novelty of the bed wears off soon but I am hopeful she will continue to do a good job. Only time will tell! Here is a picture of her waking up her first morning in her big girl bed!
Yes she is sleeping on a queen bed...that is what we already had in the room and we don't want to get rid of it because it is really nice for guests! She looks so small on it :)

Here is a picture of the purple walls and curtains I made. The sham of her new bedspread is also on the floor. Eventually that will make it on the bed too but for now I wanted to keep it as much like her crib as possible.

Flowers and decorations

My sister's wedding was an outside wedding and the reception was in a tent. Liz had such great ideas for decorations and everything turned out beautiful. Here are some pictures of the amazing flowers that my aunt created and the tent with the fun colorful balls.

If you look closely you can see my aunt behind those flowers.
Some of the flowers on the tables.
Yes my aunt made ALL of these.
The tent with the paper balls that Sarah was obsessed with!
And I had to throw this picture in too! This is a picture of my dear friend Kit who flew all the way from Tacoma, WA to help us out with the wedding. She did the brides and all of the bridesmaids hair.

Matching Outfits

Nana has done a great job of getting matching outfits for the girls. So of course Jen and I had to make sure that they wear them at the same time during the weekend. Here are a few pics of their many matching outfits....can you imagine when there are 3 of them???

Sarah was sure Maddy needed some more milk.
Bathtime! I LOVE Maddy's expression in this one.
Future Mozarts?

Elizabeth and Emiliano get married!!!!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately....I really have no excuses :) Finally here are some pictures from my sisters wedding on August 16th in Virginia Beach, Virginia. It was beautiful! Sarah and Maddy were rocking the dance floor. (They did have cute matching dresses but we stripped them down to just their slips for the reception!) These are just photos from my camera but I hope to have more from the photographer soon.

The happy couple!
The only family shot that we got...maybe I should have put my heels back on.....
They Reynaldos.
Sarah found a new friend to dance with!

The only photo that we got of the girls where both of them are looking at the camera...it may be the wrong camera but it's better than nothing!

Sleepy Girl

We have been blessed with great friends here in Indianapolis that are willing to watch our little girl while I have doctors appointments and such. I took this picture as Sarah was waiting to go to Sonya's house for naptime while I had an appointment.
She insisted on wearing her blanket as a skirt for the WHOLE day! She is already showing she has opinions on what she would like and NOT like to wear.....and she is not even two yet!
