Spaghetti!
By far spaghetti is Sarah's favorite meal! Everytime we have it I think she eats more than me! She just shovels it in her mouth. In this video, she is showing us her fork skills...we still need a little work.

Nana's Visit
My mom, Nana, came to visit at the beginning of March and we had a great time. Sarah LOVED playing with her! Nana also tried to teach her where her eye was and was almost successful :) Thanks to her everytime she sees a person in a book she points to their eyes. I forgot to take pictures most of the time she was here but finally got some as she was leaving. As you can see Sarah was ready to go with Nana to Virginia Beach!

Annual Spring Spider Conference-CANCELLED!
Ok some of you know that I HATE spiders! I'm not talking about just a little oh they are annoying..no I despise them...they may be my worst enemy. Well apparently the combination of our house being built on what used to be corn fields, all the construction in the neighborhood and the "Welcome" sign on our front door means spiders will attack my house every March! When we first moved in two years ago they were mostly in the garage and tiny...but little did I know by the end of the summer they would grow to be the size of my hand and jump on me every chance they get. (Ok that may be a little exaggeration but thats how I felt) So I bombed the garage and pledged that next spring I would get them all. Well last year as soon as I saw the first one in the garage I bombed the garage again and they mostly did stay outside and it wasn't too too bad. Well apparently this year the annual spider convention is at my house because ever since it has gotten warm they have been popping up all over the place! Cam first noticed 10 outside on our front porch and several in the garage. No big deal I'll just bomb the garage again and it will be good....
Not so fast...today I have killed 13 spiders IN my house! They have mostly been small and by the sliding glass door and back windows but still...WHAT?? So the war is on...I am going to Lowe's today to buy some lethal spider spray to spray all along the house outside and I will bomb the garage again. I also just vaccumed every crevice in my house.
So as of now the Spider Death count is 13 but I will keep you posted!

So that's where all the ice went......
Ellie, the cat, is obsessed with water/ice and really anything that resembles any of those things. Recently she has been fascinated with the ice maker in the fridge. This is what I caught her doing the other day:

or maybe she was just practicing her pull-ups...I think she can already do more than me!

Yummy Yogurt!
Last week I let Sarah hold the yogurt container and spoon all by herself....believe me this is a big deal. She was VERY excited! I got a video of her attempting to eat the yogurt all by herself. Since this occasion she has practiced several other times and it getting pretty good. Although there is still always a big mess to clean up.
P.S. I think it's hilarious that she puts her spoon down in the middle of eating in order to do the "more" sign.

Sharing Her Knowledge
The other day Sarah's friend came over for a visit. They are so fun to watch together. I got some pictures of both of them looking at the cat, Ellie. I think Sarah was telling her all of her secrets of how to torture the cat. Ellie was not amused!
