Princess Sarah
My first order of business as queen.....

is to eat my dress!

Well Sarah means "Princess" and she certainly lives up to her name! When we were visiting Poppy and Anne in DC, Anne had the perfect size chair for Sarah. She looked like the queen and I am sure if she could talk she would have been ordering us all around.

Kitties!

With all the attention of Sarah, I have started to feel bad for my first babies: the cats! Maddie and Ellie tolerate Sarah but mostly try to stay away from her especially since she has started to reach out for them. Sarah however is very fond of them and always breaks out in a smile when she sees them or hears Ellie meowing. I still have high hopes that one day they will be best of friends!

6 Months!

It is hard to believe that Sarah is already 6 1/2 months old. She has grown up so quickly. It is fun to watch her notice things and play with her toys. She just recently learned how to sit up all by herself and loves to sit on the floor and lunge for things...she is especially fond of the TV remote.

Solid Foods!

Sarah has just recently started eating solid food. So far she has tried sweet potatos, bananas, carrots and peas. Next we are going to try squash, avocados (yummy!) and pears. I have had fun making homemade baby food....it is so simple! Just cook it and put it in the food processor :) I think Sarah's favorites are sweet potatos and peas. She was not too thrilled with carrots but managed to eat them.

For Mother's Day Sarah, and I (Katie) took a trip to Virginia Beach to visit Nana and see Aunt Jennifer and unborn baby Reynaldo. Even though Sarah had a fever for almost her whole visit she was quite the trooper! She got to see lots of relatives and even got to meet some of my friends from college. What a great trip.

Rolling Over

After months of waiting for Sarah to roll over, she finally did it! She first did it on Saturday for Cam....of course when Katie was not there. But she really showed off on her 5th month birthday and even allowed Katie to get her on video. Enjoy!

5 Months

Sarah turned 5 months old on Tuesday. She seems to be getting longer everyday! At her last appointment she was 26 inches (90 %) and 14 lbs 8 oz (50%). She is really starting to notice and interact with everything around her. She is fascinated by her feet and the cats.
